Carey is a former top fashion model who stands at nearly 5'10", was popular with American designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her father is a distinguished geologist, who was awarded Scientist of the Year back in 1979 at the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey was brought up throughout the world because of the work of her father. While she was at an institution called the University of Colorado at part-time, she caught the interest of a Ford model Agency representative in New York.
