Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, a Kent town, Greater London. She is most famous for roles in films such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other like 'Hansel & Grete: Witch Hunters. She made her debut in the industry after studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made her film debut as a support role in the comedic film "St. Trinian's'. In the James Bond film Quantum of Solace and Quantum of Solace, released within a short time, she was a minor role. The film was a success commercially but received only average reviews.
